The courses of Business English and Russian as a foreign language with Maxim Achkasov take place in one of Kiev Business Centers, which is located in pr. Moskovskiy, 6. The teacher works with adults individually since he is convinced that each person must receive maximum time for practice and professional attention while learning a foreign language with a teacher. Maxim Achkasov uses manifold teaching methodology with the application of effective pedagogical approaches and techniques. Each course includes wide range of exercises and various tasks, which are directed towards developing and strengthening the learner’s independent communicative skills in all four areas of language usage: speaking, listening, reading and writing.
Maxim Achkasov is a versatile and methodical foreign languages teacher with a practical and ‘hands-on’ approach, who perseveres to always achieve the best possible results in his students.
He has been actively involved in teaching since 2002. He has obtained two degrees (B.A., M.A.) from the University of Manchester. He has also earned the Diploma in the Methods of Teaching Russian as a Foreign Language, Moscow M.V. Lomonosov State University.
Being a diligent educator, he has taken opportunities to expand his knowledge in Second Language acquisition and other work-related fields. He has been honored to instruct a variety of students from various social backgrounds, knowledge, age and education. Over the years, he has been committed to his students and personal development as a language teacher and counselor.
